Employer of Record · Bangladesh

Hire your Dhaka team without registering a company.

EORBangladesh acts as the legal Employer of Record: we issue Labour-Act-compliant contracts, run monthly BDT payroll, and file every statutory return. You get one invoice, one point of contact and full IP ownership.

What an EOR does

We become the legal employer. You keep the work.

An Employer of Record (EOR) is a licensed local company that hires the person on your behalf. All the local-law paperwork sits with us; day-to-day management, targets and IP stay with you.

Legal employer

Contract is between EORBangladesh Ltd. and the employee, under the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006.

Work direction

You set objectives, review performance, own IP and manage day-to-day. We stay out of your operating model.

Compliance layer

PF, gratuity, income-tax withholding, NBR filings, festival bonuses, statutory leave — all owned by us.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I still have full IP over what employees produce?

Yes. Every contract has an IP-assignment schedule assigning all work-product IP to you. The MSA reinforces this at corporate level. Reviewed by Barrister Farhana Rahman.

How does termination work?

Under the Labour Act 2006, notice periods are typically 30–90 days depending on the employee's category and tenure. We handle the full & final settlement, gratuity payout and tax-clearance certificate.

Can I convert an EOR employee to my own entity later?

Yes — and there's no exit fee. We coordinate the transfer of the employment record (with employee consent), close out PF and gratuity, and hand over the file to your new local HR team.
